Our room was very adequate in terms of space/size. It was clean. However, the room was beside the exit/entry point which had automated doors and this made it noisy day and night - we were sleep deprived.

If you're visiting Vilnius, you'll easily find the Old Town, museums, cathedrals, and the iconic Three Crosses. For dinner, London Grill, Brussels Mussels, and Neringa Restaurant are all great choices. But don’t limit yourself to just the Old Town — the TV Tower and the surrounding areas of Vilnius are also well worth exploring.

A very interesting and friendly city with extraordinary history. Everything works, little traffic, clean air, no litter anywhere, efficient and cheap public transport, good restaurant choice, great value - the antithesis of the UK and a great weekend destination!

Cozy with a lot of alleys and old town streets to stroll around.
Despite the population changes of the last century (google : ethnic composition change history LRT ), the city still has a cosmopolitan appearance. Sitting in a cafe or bar, you will hear many languages (Lithuanian, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, English and so on). Part of the reason is that many international companies have outsourced to the Baltics).
At this time (March 2025), Vilnius feels very affordable with a glass of wine in a gastrobar (popular concept here) for 2,50 Euro or a simple meal of potato pancakes for 6 Euro. You may want to google: numbeo vilnius cost
Personal travel tip / discovery : Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History . This museum is situated in a beautifully renovated theatre building.
Vilnius feels clean and safe.

The Old Town was huge and we'll preserved.Lots if beautiful architecture. Be prepared for long walks.
Not great for shopping. Presumedly you have to go out of the Old Town.
Customer service was generally poor. You felt unwelcome in most shops and cafes. People in general seemed moody and fed up with tourists. We were there out of the season. Luckily there were some exceptions like The Cat Cafe and Pachmama Dining Club.

It would definitely be better to choose a warmer period for going there, as there is much to see, and it's much more beautiful with sunny weather rather than gloomy and cold. There are lots of cafes and churches to explore and visit. It's easy to walk around using Google Maps if you want to see and visit specific places.
Vilnius is the perfect city to explore on foot - you only need your legs and a positive attitude. Open Google Maps on your phone and head out to visit all the churches and attractions; they’re 100% worth it.
Many of the churches offer free entry, providing an amazing experience and a visual treat.

Wifi in most placed (restaurants, supermarkets, etc)

Really liked the apartment one of the cleanest and of the nicest apartments.
One of the best apartments in the city /new apartment. Perfect clean kitchen, clean shower with everything you need.
Fast communication with the owner.
Located near shop, center, old town, airport, rail station, restaurants.
I will recommend this apartment to all my friends and will definitely come back.
A hotel in a great location. Just a 10-minute bus ride from the airport, a 10-minute walk to the Old Town, and only 5 minutes to the train and bus stations (perfect for those wanting to visit Latvia, Estonia, or Belarus). There is a large store right across the street, and an on-site laundry facility. Highly recommended!
Everything was good- staff lovely, hotel clean etc. Comfortable for work as I had to do 2 day of remote work and host some online meetings, no issues with wifi even on 3rd floor. Good breakfast, room had a kettle and small fridge. Next to a bus 3G stop to the airport, 15min walk to old town.
It is not the first our stay in Hiliday Inn Vilnius. Hotel rooms has everything you need for living, even iron in the room Very good breakfast, a lot of various dishes. Good location - in the center and 10 minutes walking to old town.
