The room was comfortable and the surrounding gardens and views were beautiful. We stayed for two nights. While we weren't expect our room to be serviced we would have hoped that the tea, coffee. milk and etc would have been topped up. Milk was obtained from reception but we didn't feel we should've had to do this. Also while the room was air conditioned. a second blanket would have been appreciated. It was quite cold and the bed only had one rather thin doona. A second blanket would have made a difference.GlennisAustralia - 10Scored 10
We stayed at Woodlands, an historic property 10 minutes...
We stayed at Woodlands, an historic property 10 minutes drive from Marburg. Loved the beautiful grounds & pool surrounded by great rural views. Enjoyed learning of the property’s interesting history & dining at the new Sugarmill restaurant in the mansion. Marburg was an appealing small town with good antique shops & a terrific Aussie pub.

Charming exceptionally well kept property steeped in history on a magnificent outlook of the valleys. Restaurant food was a standout. Rooms are sizey and comfortable although there are no views or balconies. TV could be better and needs internet channels.goodchildAustralia
